The Challenge
The project involved a complex structural environment, utilizing the G312 elevated bridge as the main line with multiple ramp bridges spliced onto the exterior. This configuration created a hybrid “elevated + ground” main and side road form to the west of Weisheng Road, while the eastern section transitioned into a flat road structure. The primary challenge was to provide a consistent and effective noise mitigation strategy that could adapt to these varying structural heights and roadway forms while ensuring full coverage across all noise-sensitive segments.
Solution
Our company was responsible for the comprehensive procurement and installation of the acoustic barrier systems, delivering a solution tailored to the actual on-site conditions:
- Adaptive Structural Design: To match the “elevated + ground” road forms, we deployed linear vertical acoustic barriers. These were strategically positioned on the outermost sections of the main line and ramp bridges to capture and deflect noise at the source.
- Sensitive Segment Protection: Based on detailed on-site assessments, we prioritized the installation of high-performance barriers in segments where the proximity to residential or commercial zones demanded maximum attenuation.
