Two-Way Reflective Aluminum Road Stud for Highway Safety

Two-way reflective aluminum road stud for highway lane marking, providing bidirectional visibility and enhanced road safety at night. Made from high-strength cast aluminum, it provides excellent durability and impact resistance. The bidirectional reflective design ensures high visibility from both directions, improving lane guidance and road safety during nighttime, fog, and low-light conditions. Ideal for highways, bridges, tunnels, and urban roads.

Body Material: Die-cast aluminum alloy (available in both solid and hollow casting processes).

Standard Dimensions: 100 × 100 × 20 mm (Industry-standard national dimensions).

Height: ≤ 25 mm (Designed to protect vehicle tires from damage).

Compressive Load Rating: Standard 30 Tons (300 KN); Heavy-Duty reinforced version up to 40 Tons.

Reflective Configuration: Bidirectional (front and back) micro-prism reflectors; no reflectors on sides.

Reflector Material: High-transmittance PMMA micro-prisms or 42 high-refractive glass beads reflectors.

Visibility Distance: ≥ 300 m on dry roads; ≥ 150 m in rainy or foggy conditions.

Reflective Colors: Yellow (central medians), White (same-direction lanes), Red (hazardous zones). Custom Blue and Green available upon request.

Installation Options:

With Anchor Shank: Features a bottom-embedded metal anchor pin. Installed via drilling into pavement and double-fixed with epoxy structural adhesive.

Shankless (Glue-on): Flat bottom fixed solely via road-grade epoxy adhesive, ideal for quick installation in light-traffic zones.

Heavy-Duty Cast Aluminum Build: Monoblock die-cast aluminum construction resists crushing and heavy impacts. Withstands repeated heavy truck loading without cracking or deforming. Features an operational lifespan of 3–5 years—far exceeding plastic alternatives (1–2 years).

Corrosion & Weather Resistance: Anti-oxidation and rust-resistant aluminum alloy performs reliably in coastal high-salinity zones and regions using winter de-icing salts. High shell hardness protects it from being crushed or dislodged by snowplow blades in northern climates.

Bidirectional Reflective Efficiency: Front-and-back reflective structures accommodate bidirectional traffic flows seamlessly. High-brightness prisms deliver long-range identification during nighttime, heavy rain, or thick fog, significantly lowering lane-departure accident risks.

Supply Reliability: Minimalist engineering combined with highly mature manufacturing molds allows us to maintain stable, rolling factory stock with flexible MOQs.

Primary Layouts: Highway lane-dividing white lines, central double-yellow median lines, national highways, provincial routes, heavy-duty freight corridors, urban expressways, viaducts, and major logistics park arterials.

Secondary Layouts: Internal lanes for large bridges and long tunnels, steep mountain descents, cliffside straightaways, and internal cargo lanes for ports.

Not Recommended For: Cross intersections, roundabouts, or T-junctions (require omnidirectional/4-way visibility); outer road shoulders (single-sided studs are more economical); pedestrian-only zones or scenic footpaths (plastic or glass cat-eyes are better suited).
